A lawyer from Universidad Católica de Chile, Mr. Lavín is director of the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources area. His practice focuses on environmental law, natural resources, real estate, energy, regulatoria, construction. He has participated in relevant operations and projects advising a large number of national and foreign companies related to agribusiness, renewable and conventional energy, real estate, agricultural, mining, and infrastructure projects, among others, in matters such as environmental assessment of projects, sectoral environmental permits, execution of legal audits or due diligence to verify the degree of compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.

Likewise, it has provided support in the development and execution of electricity generation, mining and infrastructure projects such as highways, hospitals, and ports, providing advice in the negotiation processes of construction contracts, such as EPC, operation and maintenance, including the negotiation of all kinds of civil and commercial contracts, as well as complex contracts in the commercial and civil field.

Mr. Lavín has a Diploma and a Master’s (C) in Environmental Law from the Universidad de Chile.
