Ms. Arias is a partner at Baraona Marshall. She is the head of the litigation practice. Ms. Arias primarily advises Firm’s clients, companies and individuals, with respect to civil and commercial litigation, before the Chilean courts and international arbitral tribunals, in cases involving all areas and industries. Ms. Arias has also relevant experience with respect to all type of administrative litigations and ongoing compliance with consumer’s protection regulations and proceedings in such area. Ms. Arias has worked on numerous prominent litigations, advising both plaintiffs and defendants, participating actively in all stages of the cases. Ms. Arias is a graduate of Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile where she obtained her LL.B in 2003 and was admitted in 2011. Ms Arias has received the following post-graduate titles: Diploma in Economic Public Law at the Law School of the University of Chile, in 2012; Diploma in Consumer’s Law at the Law School of Universidad Diego Portales (2016); and Diploma in Bankruptcy Law at the Law School of the University of Chile (2020). Ms. Arias was also a Professor of Civil Procedural Law at the School of law of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Santiago, Chile).
